BIBLIOTECA DE STUDII JAPONEZE
The Sembazuru Centre for Japanese Studies provides its own library, consisting of important book donations offered by the Japan Foundation (supported by the Embassy of Japan), the Nippon Foundation (Tokyo, Japan), the House of Japan Association, and various private donors (Emiko Higashi, Shinji Naruo).
The book collection includes more than 4,000 textbooks, dictionaries, encyclopedias, volumes and publications in the fields of Japanese language and literature, history-philosophy, religion, culture, civilization and social sciences, being supplemented by materials related to Japanese language textbooks such as magazines, cassettes, CDs and DVDs. The Japanese Studies Library also contains a collection of undergraduate research papers on various aspects of Japan. The library also provides its own small reading room. The book fund is constantly improved by donations of books received from various Japanese institutions or private donors.
The book fund and study materials from the The Japanese Studies Library support not only the optimal development of the educational process, but also the proper functioning of the The Sembazuru Centre for Japanese Studies.
