STAGE I
■ registration of candidates: July 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 2025
■ where applicable: interviews (oral test) on the project submitted in the application file (see Criterion 3 – currently being updated for 2025): July 16, 2025
LMA – aptitude test: July 16, 2025. Results will be posted on the same day.
■ verification by candidates of the data entered in the admission platform: July 18, 2025; appeals against the written tests shall be submitted electronically by July 18, 2025, by 12:00 noon.
■ initial results: July 20, 2025
■ confirmation of places: July 21, 22, 23, 2025
■ publication of final lists: July 29, 2025

■ registration of candidates: September 5, 6, 7, 2025
■ where applicable: interviews (oral test) on the project submitted in the application file (see Criterion 3 – currently being updated for 2025): September 9, 2025

Any person who holds a bachelor’s degree.
For master’s degree programs, admission is granted in the fields of master’s degree studies accredited by the legally established study programs within Babeș-Bolyai University (cf. HG), in accordance with the legislation in force. Graduates with a bachelor’s degree may apply for admission, regardless of the year of graduation from the bachelor’s program.

Only full-time courses are offered.
The Faculty of Letters at Babeș-Bolyai University does NOT organize admission exams for tuition-based distance learning or part-time programs.
The courses are offered on a budget or fee basis.
The Faculty of Letters of Babeş-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca is organizing a master’s degree admission competition for the 2024-2025 academic year for full-time courses on places subsidized by study grants and on fee-paying places, with a duration of two years.

Upon confirmation of the place, the file uploaded to the platform (with all original documents; for the birth certificate and ID card, a copy must also be provided) must be submitted in person at the Faculty of Letters (Strada Horea, no. 31, Cluj-Napoca).
Before physically submitting the file, the place must also be confirmed on the admission platform.
