Accommodation in UBB dormitories for the 2024-2025 academic year

Dear students, please find below the results of the second stage of accommodation allocation for our faculty. A total of 118 applications were submitted, and the criteria for allocating places in the dormitory are as follows:

The beneficiaries on the list below can move in on October 2, 2024.

Dear students, we are opening the second stage of accommodation in UBB dormitories. All those who wish to obtain a place in a dormitory or those who wish to be redistributed to another dormitory must complete the form below.
The form is the same for students applying for accommodation based on academic merit and for those applying on social grounds.
Deadline for completion: October 1, 2024, 12:00 p.m.

Attention students who will be staying in UBB student dormitories

Students should report to the dormitory they have been assigned to between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on the following days:

– September 27: 1st year bachelor’s degree students;

– September 28: 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year bachelor’s degree students;

– September 29: master’s, doctoral, and students who were unable to come on the first two days.

Documents required for accommodation:

– copy of ID card/student ID;

– 3/4 photo;

– rental agreement (to be completed upon arrival).

Access by car to the Hasdeu campus will be allowed ONLY after students have checked in. Car access will be granted upon presentation of the dormitory ID card to the volunteers who will welcome them. It is mandatory to display your phone number in a visible place upon entering the campus so that you can be contacted if necessary.

Access to the campus is for unloading luggage only, and the parking limit is 15 minutes. Please follow the instructions to ensure a smooth flow of traffic and the smooth running of the accommodation process.

Dear students, we invite you to consult the final lists (STAGE I) of accommodation in the UBB dormitories for students of the Faculty of Letters, posted on 14.09.2024! Then, please consult the criteria for allocating places in dormitories, posted below!

Accommodation in dormitories for all those on the lists will be arranged directly at the assigned dormitory on September 27, 28, and 29, 2024. Please refer to the “Accommodation Schedule” button!

On September 30, 2024, all interested parties may submit applications for Stage 2 accommodation for places that remain vacant due to non-attendance/non-acceptance of the place allocated in Stage 1 on the days designated for accommodation in the dormitory.

First-year doctoral students (status in 2024-2025) must complete the accommodation form below between September 1 and 7, 2024.

Social and medical cases (see Accommodation Regulations, Article 9, paragraph 5) must submit their applications between September 1 and 7, 2024, attaching the supporting documents (a single PDF file) to the form published in the section Accommodation for social cases 2024.

Composition of the file:

Annex 1 – low income and other special categories or, depending on the case, Annex 1 – medical case;

Annex 2 – standard application form;

Annex 3 – Declaration of net income (only for cases of low income);

Annex 4 – Declaration on the submission of the file by electronic means;

Annex 5 – Student’s handwritten agreement on the processing of personal data;

Annex 6 – Handwritten agreement of each family member for whom income has been declared;

The documents required for each social case can be found in Annex 1. For documents in Annex 1 that do not apply to you, add a line when completing the annex.

Candidates who are accepted for admission in 2024, in the July and September sessions, will request accommodation on the admission platform when confirming their place.

Accommodation steps – Documents to be prepared Art. 16. Student accommodation in dormitories requires:

a) Submission of the following documents:

· identity card or passport;

· copy of identity card or passport;

· certificate of parent being a teacher (if applicable);

· disability certificate for the persons concerned;

· ¾ photo.

b) Conclusion of the rental agreement between Babeș-Bolyai University and the student;

c) Payment of the accommodation fee for the respective month;

d) Receipt of the dormitory ID card;

e) Taking over the room inventory based on the individual and collective handover report.
