On the 7th of July 2017, at the Vibe festival, Beáta Molnár PhD student did a presentation entitled Cultural Acupuncture: the Interactions of Cultures, Spaces and Human Behaviors.
In her presentation she stressed the different theoretical approaches of the field perceptions defined by cultural factors and their impact on human behaviour. The lecture was based on some everyday examples that can be familiar to all of us: how and why our behaviour changes in a profane/sacred space, how we move in a familiar or unfamiliar space, why we feel that our conversation partners sometimes come too close to us, what factors determine our intimate sphere.
The presentation highlighted the importance of conscious space use, but he also skimmed down a number of questions that would allow us to create a more subtle picture of our narrower or wider environment.
