At the first time, in 2017, the Department of Hungarian Etnography and Antropology organized a professional practice for students, which took place in Mera during the “Mera World Music Festival” in July.

During this internship, our students had the ability to work in a youthful, energetic and practical environment where they could develop their knowledge and get a better understanding about the practical side of the festival as well. Our students could look into and test their skills in how to organize such a cultural event, furthermore they could experience how to put into practice their theoretical knowledge.

The practice at the Méra World Muic Festival will be announced in 2018, which can be applied by both ethnographers and students of education.
