Research domains:
As a member of the research group Res Litteraria Transilvaniae Vetus I participate in the projects of this micro-institution, and I take part regularly at the conferences organized annually by the HAS–Baroque Literature and Spirituality Research Group. Many of my studies have been pubished in the volumes of these conferences.
Az present I work on an educational supplement meant to help students with their orientation in the world of medieval texts. I started to work out the practical details with the collaboration of 3rd year students. A group of students are being involved in another work in process also: we prepare for edition (with notes and an accompanying study) a late medieval legend from the Nagyszombati kódex together with one of its Baroque versions (the Rosary of Jerusalem) that was published in the press of Csíksomlyó which has been preserved in only one copy. Concerning the preparatory work for the edition see A lelki csésze titkai – avagy ízelítő a csíksomlyói kordások lelki asztaláról (The Mysteries of the Spiritual Cup – or Appetizer from the spiritual Table of the Franciscan Third Order of Csíksomlyó), in Déri Eszter szerk. (ed.), Barokk vallásos közösségek (Baroque Religious Communities), MTA – PPKE, Budapest, 2017, 79–88.
Another study I published this year highlights the relationship between medieval texts and Baroque publications through examples taken from church songs: Mikroelemzések, mélyfúrások esélyei az első hivatalos népének-gyűjteményekben (The Chances of Microanalyses in the First Compilations of Official Church Songs), in Szádoczki Vera szerk. (ed.), Népénekek és gyülekezeti énekek a 17. századi Magyarországon (Church Songs in Hungary in the 17th Century), MTA-PPKE Budapest, 2017,37–46.
